Positive Student Behaviour and Learning

Award	Requirements	Award Procedure
Red Merit Certificate	Students need to demonstrate: A positive approach to learning Co-operation Initiative Leadership Outstanding improvement Following sun-safe practices School or community service	Awarded by any teacher at an appropriate time. Students need to keep these in a safe place to receive subsequent awards.
Bronze Merit Certificate	5 Red Merit Certificates	Pastoral Leaders present Bronze awards to students.
Silver Merit Award	Three Bronze Merit Certificates	Pastoral Leaders present Silver merit awards to students at a year group assembly.
Gold Merit Certificate	Three Silver Merit Certificates	Gold Merits are presented at a whole school assembly by the Principal or Assistant Principal
Marian Cup	Total number of merits per student per house group	Presented at the end of year awards ceremony to winning house.

The Way, The Truth, The Life

We acknowledge and pay our respects to the traditional custodians, past and present, of the lands of the Wiradjuri, Yorta Yorta, Walgalu and Ngarigo people, on whose lands our schools are built.

Long before us, they lived, loved and raised their children on these lands.

We also acknowledge all the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families in our community and acknowledge their physical and spiritual connections to the land. We come together to learn, to share and to journey together.
